Diet/Acne Relationship

Real food is an endangered species these days. The old IBM adage, GIGO (“garbage in, garbage out”) applies to the human body as well. The skin has a 1000 to 1 ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 oils. Unfortunately most if not all oils in our diet are adulterated. These adulterated oils become impregnated into our cell membranes corrupting its function. The cell membrane looses a portion of its permeability. Waste products cannot get out and the nutrients plus oxygen cannot get in. The result is acne. All the facial medicaments in the world will not solve the problem.

To restore the beauty of your skin you must first stop the input of the toxic processed foods. The organic, cold pressed omega 6 and omega 3 oils must become a staple in your diet. Pumpkin seed oil, flax oil, evening primrose oil, sunflower oil, and extra virgin coconut oil provide the essential parent omega 6s and omega 3s that the body can produce the other oils like DHA and EPA that it needs. It’s a no brainer. Give the body the raw materials it requires and the system will take care of itself.

The adulterated 6 oils in processed foods corrupts the skin.

Below — Reduction of snack and processed foods was the result of the acne resolving. There are no magic bullets. Remember, “garbage in garbage out.” All the antiobiotics and steroid creams will Not solve this problem.

Below — Dramatic post-dietary changes. The skin has a 1000 to 1 ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 oils. Consumption of adultered omega 6 oils (snack and processed foods) loads the skin with pro-inflammatory oils which cause acne. Changing one’s diet to include wholesome foods like steamed vegetables, high quality protein, and organic cold pressed omega 6 oils allows the skin to heal. Applying drugs (antibiotics, steriod creams, and other acne type drugs only serves to treat the symptoms. Real healing must come from within.

Chronic inflammation from acne caues scarring. The body’s defense against scarring is the production of pancreatic enzymes. After the age of 27, the levels of these enzyme start deminishing. The result is that scars from whatever source remain. The use of the systemic enzyme, Zymessence, has many functions. It is anti-inflammatory, dissolves away scars, digests foreign protein in the blood (bacteria, viruses, debris), and it helps reduce any stickiness of the blood. The longer Zymessence is used the smoother the skin will become.
